High quality wool, high fleece weights

Blyth Merino ewes produce, on average, 6.5 – 7 kilograms of 18.5 – 19 micron wool per 12 months. By weight, fineness, fibre density and fibre length, the Blyth Merino clip is far ahead of the national average.

High fibre density and high fibre length, ensures the production of fine wool with high fleece weights. When there are more fibres on the sheep’s body, and the fibres are long, then the fleece weight will be high.
